Mystery Bounty Festival on 888poker - $2 M GTD

From February 19 to March 7, more than $2 million is guaranteed at the Mysterious Bounty Festival. Players can choose from a number of beginning flights for the $160 Main Event, with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $55. The guarantee for that competition is $300,000.

“We’re going all out this February with an entire series jam-packed with mystery bounties,” 888 noted in a news release. “For the first time ever, every tournament in the series will feature a mystery bounty. So, you don’t have to finish in the money to win massively in this poker series – possibly win up to $30,000 cash in one single knockout.”

The $109 Mystery Bounty Eight-Max, which runs from February 23 to 27, is another highlight of the season. A $150,000 guarantee is offered for the tournament with multiple starting flights. On February 28, 888pokerTV will also stream the winner's table.

On the first day of the series, some enjoyable incidents get the action going. The series begins with a $11 Mystery Bounty event with a $20,000 guarantee. A $55 variant with a $50,000 guarantee and a $109 version with a $120,000 guarantee are also available to players.

The format is a little different from a typical bounty tournament for individuals who have never participated in a mystery bounty. A player receives a random award when they defeat an opponent rather than cashing out on a predetermined sum.
