A redesigned multi-table tournament schedule, targeted at recreational players, is being released by Unibet Poker. It features a large increase in guarantees as well as industry-low rake prices. Unibet has long been a favorite among recreational players, and by lowering the rake in all reward tournaments to 4.5%–4.8%, it has solidified that reputation. Numerous gambling websites charge twice as much.
Unibet increased the guarantees on its daily MTT schedule in addition to lowering the rake. Players will now find a €4k, €5k, €6k, and €10k when they log on. The largest guarantee previously available was €4,000.
The new MTT schedule at Unibet is being celebrated with a €100,000 leaderboard promotion. Following are the three tiers at which the leaderboards will pay out €10,000 per week for ten weeks:
The MTT format will also be altered by attempting to have all daily majors end up by 1:00 a.m. CET/CEST. That's a wink to recreational players who have to get up early to go to work.
A schedule that has fewer add-ons and more bounty events is also available for the recs. In add-on events, inexperienced players are often at a disadvantage because better players are known to max late registration.
The schedule has been updated to include:
software created for recreational players
