WPT Global Spring Festival begins on Sunday!

The highly regarded World Poker Tour is creating a stir on the internet with the upcoming Spring Festival on its official platform, WPT Global. The series, which takes place from May 21 to June 4th, invites you to compete for a $1,250,000 GTD prize pool. 84 tournaments, including a number of WPT World Championship Passports to be granted, are covered within the two-week schedule.

The 2019 Spring Festival offers a range of events, including No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha classics, as well as a mix of Short Deck events. These events are all played in PKO, 6-max, and Turbo formats. The games' buy-ins range from $1.10 to $2,500 for the High Rollers, making them not only affordable for players of different bankroll sizes but also thrilling for those looking for more intense action.

The $1,060 Main Event, which begins on Sunday, May 28th, and runs through the festival's conclusion on Wednesday, June 4th, continues to be the major attraction of the series. The victor of the Main Event will take home the majority of the $200,000 prize pool in addition to being the first-ever WPT Prime online champion and earning a spot at the Wynn Las Vegas WPT World Championship in 2023. There will be ten initial flights in total throughout the week, providing competitors plenty of opportunity to advance to the Day 2 Final.

Winners and final table finishers from all Spring Festival events can register for the June 11th Champion of Champions freeroll one week after the tournament has ended. A $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport is up for grabs in the freeroll, along with specifically created WPT prizes that are guaranteed for the winners of the three previously mentioned highlights.
