Zombie Bounty Hunter Series on Chico Poker

With a special series titled "Zombie Bounty Hunter," the Chico Poker Network is celebrating Halloween for the first time this year. In the final week of October, about $1,300,000 will be paid out throughout more than 100 tournaments. A bubble bust bonus and a $1,000 daily Zombie Hunter Shootouts Freeroll are two additional promos.

Tigergaming, Betonline, and Sportsbetting will stage about 100 Zombie Bounty Hunter Series events from October 23 to October 30 with approx $1,300,000 GTD.

Zombie Bounty Hunter Highlights

  • Main Event: $250,000 PKO ($109 buy-in)
  • Mini Main: $50,000 PKO ($22 buy-in)

$1,000 Zombie Bounty Hunter Shootouts

Players will have the opportunity to compete in a Shootout event with those that collected at least one Bounty on Day 1 of the series starting on Day 2. These players will have the opportunity to win a share of $1,000 in an Instant All-In Shootout at 9:00 am ET. Your starting stack in this shootout event will be determined by the number of knockouts (zombie kills) the previous day:

1 – 5 Knockouts: 1 starting chip
6 – 10 Knockouts: 3 starting chips
11 - 20 Knockouts: 5 starting chips
21 or more Knockouts: 10 starting chips

A larger beginning stack increases your chances of surviving the Zombie Hunter's Shootout and provides you with more money to score more kills during the series.

Come-Back-From-The-Dead Bubble Prizes

There will be a tournament "bubble" prize offered at each PKO event in the series. If you happen to be eliminated and end up in the bubble, you will be "raised from the dead" and your buy-in will be reimbursed. For example, in the event that you finish in 101st place in a $22 tournament that pays the top 100 finishers, your account will be credited with $22.

What Are PKO Tournaments?

The majority of competitions are 50/50 buy-in PKO events (Progressive Knockouts). In other words, half of your buy-in goes into the prize fund of the event, while the other half becomes a bounty on your head. When you take out a "zombie" (another player), you receive half of their bounty; the remaining half is added to the price on your head.

With the PKO model, you can earn money from every competitor you defeat in the competition. Bounties increase in size as the competition progresses.
