The Halloween Mystery PKO schedule includes three events:
The $109 Mystery PKO carries a $500,000 guarantee, with Day 2 beginning at 14:30 ET on November 1. The $33 Mystery PKO features a $100,000 guarantee and starts Day 2 at 16:30 ET. The $5.50 Mystery PKO offers a $50,000 guarantee, with its final stage scheduled for 23:05 ET.
Each event has multiple Day 1 starting flights, allowing players to make repeated attempts to qualify. Starting stacks are 5,000 chips, equivalent to 50 big blinds. The $109 tournament uses 10-minute blind levels, while the other two events use eight-minute levels.
Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available for the first eight levels. All flights use eight-handed tables, and play continues through Level 14. Players who remain in the tournament at the end of that level advance to Day 2.
Players can find the available starting flights in the ACR Poker tournament lobby. The multi-flight structure also allows players to qualify more than once, with stacks from multiple successful flights combined for Day 2.
Players who prefer to qualify rather than pay the full buy-in can use several satellite options.
For the $33 Mystery PKO, $3.30 satellites guarantee five tournament tickets. The $109 event offers $10.50 Hyper Satellites with two tickets guaranteed and $11 Turbo Satellites with five tickets guaranteed. Players can also pursue two-step Survivor Flip Sit & Go satellites starting at $1.90.
These qualification routes give players alternatives across different budgets, although satellite entries still involve risk and do not guarantee a return.
The defining feature of the series is its combination of Mystery Bounties and Progressive Bounties. The Mystery PKO mechanic activates on Day 2, meaning the starting flights focus on accumulating chips and qualifying for the final stage.
When a player eliminates an opponent, they reveal a Mystery Bounty. Half of that bounty is paid immediately, while the other half is added to the eliminating player's own Progressive Bounty.
If the eliminated opponent also has an accumulated Progressive Bounty, that amount is split in half. The player responsible for the knockout receives one half immediately, while the other half is added to their own bounty.
This creates two potential sources of value from each knockout: an immediate reward and an increase in the amount opponents can win by eliminating the player later. As bounties grow, players may face additional strategic decisions about targeting opponents and managing their own tournament risk.
The ability to combine stacks from multiple Day 1 qualifications adds another strategic element. Players who qualify more than once start Day 2 with their successful stacks combined, potentially giving them more chips with which to compete for bounties.
The Halloween Mystery PKO series combines familiar progressive knockout mechanics with randomly determined bounty rewards. Its three buy-in levels make the format accessible to players with different tournament budgets, while the multi-flight structure offers repeated qualification opportunities.
With $650,000 in combined guarantees and all three final stages scheduled for November 1, the series provides a focused Halloween tournament offering on ACR Poker. Actual prize pools and individual bounty payouts will depend on tournament participation and the applicable event rules.
