ACR Poker’s $15M Venoms Heat Up

$15 Million Across Two Venoms

The NLHE Venom is carrying the larger $12 million guarantee, while the PLO edition guarantees another $3 million. After the first three starting flights, the NLHE tournament had attracted 1,526 entries, with 184 players advancing to Day 2. The PLO event had 418 entries, sending 51 players through.

The numbers are expected to grow as players can enter additional starting flights even after qualifying. Players who survive multiple flights can also combine their stacks for Day 2, potentially creating some very deep stacks when the bounty hunt begins.

Early leaders have already built enormous stacks. Eko4gg leads the NLHE field with 8,542,202 chips, equivalent to 213 big blinds, while Winkyface1984 is leading the PLO event with 17,037,699 chips, or an extraordinary 608 big blinds.

Mystery Bounties Begin on Day 2

The bounty format is what makes the Venoms particularly interesting. Once Day 2 begins, every knockout is worth at least $5,000 in addition to the normal tournament payout.

The biggest possible bounty is $500,000 in the NLHE Venom, while the PLO tournament offers a top bounty of $250,000. With players already in the money, eliminating an opponent can therefore produce a substantial payday even before reaching the final stages.

Multiple Ways to Reach the Venoms

Players do not necessarily need to pay the full $2,650 buy-in. ACR Poker’s Venom Fever promotion has already awarded 853 seats and is set to guarantee more than 1,500 entries before August 30.

Satellites, Beast tournaments, Venom Madness, Survivor Flips and Spin to Get In all provide alternative qualification routes, with some starting from as little as $0. The Venom Vault also offers a path through Survivor Flip tickets, while its top Golden Ticket provides a direct $2,650 Venom entry.

Venom Specials Add Even More Action

The Venoms are supported by a major schedule of Venom Specials, with 91 tournaments offering a combined $10.16 million in guarantees through August 31.

Four starting flights remain on August 23, 24, 27 and 30, while Day 2 of the main Venoms begins August 31. The final tables are scheduled for September 2.
