The Sunday schedule also features a satellite awarding at least seven packages worth $30,000 each for the WSOP Paradise Main Event. With further Dual Venom starting flights ahead and a broader WSOP Paradise satellite campaign running through November, players have several major tournament opportunities to target this month.

Dual Venom Day 1C Begins October 11

Dual Venom combines two separate Progressive Knockout tournaments: the $5 million-guaranteed NLH Venom PKO and the $1.5 million-guaranteed PLO Venom PKO. Both tournaments have a $2,650 buy-in.

Day 1C begins on October 11 at 1:05 p.m. Eastern Time. Two further starting flights are scheduled for October 15 and October 18, giving players additional opportunities to qualify for Day 2.

One of the defining features of the Dual Venom format is its cumulative stack structure. Players can enter multiple starting flights, even after securing a place in Day 2. Their qualifying stacks are combined before the next stage, allowing players to improve their position by performing well in additional flights.

The PKO format also adds a bounty component to the competition. Players collect rewards for eliminating opponents, and particularly successful runs can help them recover some or even all of their initial buy-in through bounty earnings.

Dual Venom Tournament Structure

The NLH Venom starts players with 300,000 chips, equivalent to 187.5 big blinds. The PLO Venom offers a starting stack of 400,000 chips, or 200 big blinds.

Both tournaments use 20-minute blind levels, allow unlimited re-entries during the registration period and keep late registration open for 18 levels. Each Day 1 flight continues until approximately 12% of the field remains, with qualifying players advancing to Day 2.

The first starting flight offered an early indication of field sizes and bounty potential. The $5 million NLH Venom PKO attracted 511 entries, with 86 players advancing. Atheist30 finished the flight as chip leader with 5,186,479 chips, while lordgiven collected $8,125 in bounties.

The $1.5 million PLO Venom PKO recorded 133 entries, with 17 players moving forward. BooooomHeadsot led the surviving field with 6,706,559 chips. bethechange and sendmehome each earned $9,687.50 in bounty prizes.

These results illustrate the different field sizes across the two formats, with the NLH event drawing a substantially larger opening field.

Satellite Routes Offer Alternatives to the $2,650 Buy-In

Players who prefer not to pay the full Dual Venom buy-in can pursue satellite qualification through ACR Poker's Venom Fever campaign, which runs through October 18.

The operator has scheduled at least 587 guaranteed tickets across direct and mega satellites for the two tournaments. The NLH Venom accounts for 470 guaranteed seats, while the PLO Venom has another 117.

NLH Mega Satellites guarantee 210 seats, with direct satellites offering another 260. For PLO, mega satellites guarantee 30 seats and direct satellites provide 87.

Additional step-satellite routes start with freerolls, allowing players to work toward larger qualifiers through a sequence of lower-cost events. NLH routes include paths through $3.15, $6.30 and $10.50 satellites, followed by progressively larger qualifiers. The PLO route includes freerolls leading to a $33 Super Satellite and then a $290 mega satellite.

ACR Poker also offers eight-player Sit & Go Survivor Flip Step Satellites, with buy-ins starting at $0.80 at the first stage.

These options create several routes into the flagship events, although satellite entry fees can accumulate across multiple steps. Players should choose a qualification path that fits their bankroll rather than treating a satellite seat as guaranteed.
