⛔ Admitted Cheat Ali Imsirovic Ejected from Tournament

Pro Player Ali Imsirovic, who admitted to cheating in online poker, was disqualified and banned from the Champions Club Winter Poker Open Main Event in Texas.

Buy-in: $1,500
Location: Champions Club, Texas
Action: Registered but immediately disqualified
Outcome: Banned from the club & buy-in refunded

🚨 Why was he banned? The Tournament Director was alerted to Imsirovic’s presence and swiftly removed him from the event, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy on game integrity.

Champions Club President Isaac Trumbo made it clear:

"Champions is committed, first and foremost, to the protection of our members. If poker is going to continue to thrive, the community must be able to trust operators to prioritize game integrity above all else, including our bottom line."

🔍 Imsirovic’s History of Alleged Cheating

Ali Imsirovic has been embroiled in multiple cheating scandals over the past few years, with accusations including:

Multi-accounting 🚨 (which he later admitted to)
Using Real-Time Assistance (RTA) 🤖 (which he has not admitted to)
Looking at opponents' hole cards 👀

Back in 2022, top pro Alex Foxen publicly accused Imsirovic of extensive online and live cheating, leading to his ban from GGPoker and PokerGO events.

🚫 Live Poker Bans & Industry Reaction

Since the scandal broke, Imsirovic has been rarely seen in live tournaments. Reports suggest he has been banned from multiple major poker tours, including:

❌ Triton Poker Series (rumored ban)
❌ European Poker Tour (EPT) (rumored ban)
❌ GGPoker & WSOP (WSOP now owned by GGPoker, making his participation unlikely in the future)
Despite these bans, he has still been spotted in some WSOP events. However, with GGPoker’s strong stance against RTA users, his future in major live poker looks bleak.

🎭 Community Response – A Step in the Right Direction?

The poker community has long debated whether known cheaters should be allowed in live events after being caught online. Champions Club's swift action sets a strong precedent that game integrity comes first.

📢 What do you think? Should all major tours enforce bans on known cheaters, or should players be given a second chance?
