Online poker players in Latin America will see a major change in February 2026 as Bodog Poker Latam to rebrand as Ignition Poker. After more than 30 years of operation under the Bodog name, the brand owner has chosen not to renew use of the Bodog trademark, leading to a new alliance with Ignition Poker and a fresh chapter for players across the region.
the biggest poker network for USA players
soft field on heads-up games
big tourneys
anonymous tables, no hands tracking allowed
no more than NL400 when it comes to heads-up
There will be no changes to payment methods, deposit and withdrawal limits, or ongoing promotions. The main difference will be the updated software and brand identity, so players should download and install the new Ignition Poker client once the change takes effect. Ignition Poker promises a refreshed interface and exclusive launch promotions for the Latin America rollout.
Traffic and gameplay are expected to remain unaffected, as the poker platform will continue to share tables with other skins in the PaiWangLuo network, including Bovada and Ignition Casino. This means that the player pool will stay robust and active even after the rebrand.
Players who log in on or after February 18 will find their Bodog Poker account transformed into Ignition Poker, but with all balances, rewards, promotions, and preferences intact. Accessing the new platform will require downloading the Ignition software or visiting the Ignition Poker website directly. There is no need to set up a new account or migrate funds manually.
The operator has also confirmed that launch-specific bonuses and special promotions will be offered in connection with the rebrand. Details on welcome bonuses, rakeback, VIP program structures, and other incentives are expected to be announced soon.
The Bodog brand was founded in 2000 by entrepreneur Calvin Ayre and quickly became a major name in online betting and poker. Over the years, Bodog grew into a multi-faceted gaming platform offering poker, casino games, sports betting and more under a unified brand. In Latin America, Bodog Poker became especially popular thanks to localized traffic, anonymous tables, and support for regional payment methods.
Despite its long history and prominence in many markets, the owner of the Bodog trademark has decided to discontinue its use in the entertainment industry, opening the door for the transition to Ignition Poker.
The new Ignition Poker platform will initially operate in the same countries where Bodog Poker has been active.
There are unconfirmed reports that Ignition Latin America may expand further in the future, but Colombia has not yet appeared on the initial launch list.
Ignition Poker is a well-established online poker and casino brand, known for its user-friendly software, anonymous tables, and consistent traffic across cash games and MTTs. The brand has operated for more than a decade and shares player pools with related skins on the PaiWangLuo network. It supports localized payment options and offers promotions, tournaments, and rewards tailored to regional markets.
The Ignition platform emphasizes fair play, strong security protocols, and an entertaining online experience. With the Latin American rebrand, Ignition Poker aims to provide continuity for Bodog Poker users while delivering new launch incentives and an updated user experience.
