With the Bounty Hunters Series and the $2 million Cash Drop also featuring in GGPoker’s October schedule, the Halloween Party adds another promotional opportunity for players already active at the tables.

Collect Candies With the Jack of Spades

The main mechanic is simple. During eligible Cash Games, players can collect Candies whenever the Jack of Spades appears in a qualifying situation.

Players receive one Candy when they are dealt the J♠ as a hole card, even if they fold the hand. They can collect another Candy when the J♠ appears on the board while they are involved in the pot.

Once a player has collected at least 10 Candies, Trick-or-Treat mode becomes available, allowing them to open a Mystery Pumpkin for a reward.

The promotion has no stated limit on Candy collection, giving players opportunities to continue accumulating them throughout the event. Using more Candies can also improve the chances of receiving larger rewards, although individual prizes are not guaranteed.

Mystery Pumpkins Offer Rewards Up to C$1,000

The Mystery Pumpkin mechanic adds a random-reward element to the promotion. Once players meet the 10-Candy requirement, they can use their collected Candies to unlock a pumpkin and discover their prize.

Rewards are paid in C$ (Cash Dollars), with prizes reaching up to C$1,000. Candies themselves have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged between players.

The $1 million headline prize pool gives the promotion its scale, while the individual Mystery Pumpkin rewards provide an additional incentive to participate during Halloween week.

Which GGPoker Games Qualify?

The Halloween Party covers several popular Cash Games formats, including Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, PLO-5, PLO-6 and Short Deck. Players can also collect Candies in Rush & Cash and All-In or Fold.

However, the promotion does not cover every game on the platform. Spin & Gold, Mystery Battle Royale, Flip & Go, tournaments, Flash Satellites, WSOP Express and Play Money tables are excluded.

Players should therefore check that they are playing an eligible Cash Games format before expecting to collect Candies.

A Halloween Extra for Regular Cash Game Players

GGPoker’s Halloween Party adds a separate reward mechanic to regular Cash Games rather than requiring players to enter a dedicated tournament.

For players who already enjoy the eligible formats, the promotion offers a way to pursue additional rewards while playing their usual games. The Jack of Spades provides a clear collection target, while Mystery Pumpkins introduce an element of surprise once enough Candies have been accumulated.

The promotion runs through October 31, giving players a limited window to collect Candies and open Mystery Pumpkins before the Halloween event ends.
